Megan graduated from Rutgers University with a BS degree in Human Nutrition and Foods and later from Immaculata University with a Masters Degree in Nutrition Education. She has a personal interest in Diabetes Education and also obtained her Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist certification. Megan feels fortunate to help many dialysis patients live their lives to the fullest by providing them with the educational tools that they need to have healthier outcomes.
Megan and her husband, Mark, are the parents of four children. She is an avid runner and enjoys spending time with her extended family.

Megan Lauer has extensive experience in all areas of clinical nutrition. She has worked as a consultant dietitian to hospitals, rehab and skilled nursing facilities, and both outpatient and inpatient dialysis facilities. Megan prides herself on providing patients with the nutrition knowledge that they need to best manage their kidney disease as well as their additional comorbidities.
